We use cookies and similar browser storage to make the site work properly, to measure usage anonymously (with your consent), and to keep small bits of state on your device so the site feels less forgetful. This page lists what we store and why.
1. Essential cookies
These keep the site working. They’re always on and can’t be disabled via the banner.
- Session cookie — identifies your browser session if you submit forms. Cleared when you close the browser.
- CSRF token — protects form submissions from cross-site forgery attacks.
- cookie-consent — remembers your choice from the banner so we don’t ask again. Stored in localStorage; you can clear it from your browser settings.
2. Analytics cookies
These help us understand which pages are useful and where people get stuck. They only run if you click “Accept” on the consent banner.
- Google Analytics (GA4) — when enabled, GA4 stores anonymised identifiers to measure page views, time on page, and basic device info. We have IP anonymisation and ad-personalisation features turned off. Data is processed by Google under their privacy policy.
3. Functional storage
These live in your browser and are never sent to our servers.
- contact-draft — if you start typing in the contact form and refresh the page, we restore your draft from sessionStorage. It’s cleared on submit and when you close the tab.
4. Managing your consent
You can change your choice at any time by clearing thecookie-consent key from your browser’s localStorage — the banner will appear again on your next visit. Most modern browsers let you clear site data per-origin from their settings panel.
Alternatively, you can manage cookies directly through your browser: Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge.
5. Changes
We’ll keep this page in sync with any new tools we add. The “last updated” date at the top reflects the current version. For details on how we handle the data these cookies collect, see our privacy policy.
